Dreams are a way God communicates with us, but we must be cautious and discerning, as satan and demons can also influence dreams. Dreams can be visions of the night, and when sharing a message from a dream, it's essential to be specific and inform the recipients that it was a dream, so they can judge it soberly.

As it is written in Joel 2:28, "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:" This shows that dreams are a part of God's communication with His people.

When interpreting dreams, it's crucial to test them against Scripture and seek confirmation from God and other believers. We must also be aware that not all dreams are from God, and some may be influenced by our own thoughts, emotions, or satanic forces.

Characteristics of Dreams

• Communication: Dreams are a way God communicates with us, but also can be influenced by satan or our own thoughts.
• Vision of the night: Dreams can be visions of the night, and may require interpretation.
• Discernment: We must be discerning when interpreting dreams, testing them against Scripture and seeking confirmation.

Example in Scripture

A great example is Joseph, who interpreted Pharaoh's dreams, and God used it to save many lives (Genesis 41).

When to expect it?

Dreams can be expected when believers are seeking God and His guidance, and are open to His communication. It's essential to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading and to test dreams against Scripture.
